Absolutely, our state of the art teeth whitening system is correctly performed by experienced dental assistants in a safe and professional manner with all care taken for your safety. We only use dental grade solution (hydrogen peroxide); our only differences to a dental surgery is we use a lower strength solution which results in almost no pain or sensitivity.  We simply extend the duration of your appointment as opposed to a dental surgery to achieve amazing results with no discomfort felt in your teeth and is much less harsh to your enamel.  Full gum protection is always applied as a result our clients do not suffer gum burns. The technology included in our machines allows us to custom your treatment to your needs with three power settings available, so if mild sensitivity is ever experienced we can adjust the settings to the clients needs to make sure our clients are always comfortable.

Dental whitening is very similar to cosmetic teeth whitening, the main differences include the duration of the treatment & the strength of the gel used. We use dental grade gel similar to  a dentist, just at a slightly lower percentage of 6% compared to 25%-40% that dentist commonly use. The major benefit to dropping the percentage is that this virtually mitigates all sensitivity making our treatments in most cases pain free, compared to dental whitening where sensitivity is almost certain and extremely painful. The way we can still achieve our amazing results is by simply extending the duration of the our treatments! 

In summary, while dental whitening is faster due to its stronger gel, it often comes with discomfort from sensitivity. Cosmetic teeth whitening, on the other hand, provides a more relaxed, comfortable  experience with slightly longer sessions to achieve the same results, but without the pain or sensitivity typically associated with dental procedures. As you are recommended not to eat for an hour afterwards, if possible it is a good idea to have a light meal. We also highly recommend brushing and flossing your teeth thoroughly before your appointment. This ensures the whitening solution can be applied evenly, helping you achieve a consistent, uniform shade of white across your entire smile. For best outcome it is ideal to have had a recent scale and polish at your dentists.

It is recommended to wait one hour before eating, and we highly suggest following the ‘white diet’ for at least 24 hours after your teeth whitening treatment. We will give you aftercare details on this at your appointment. This is because your teeth continue to whiten after the session, and they need enough time to reach their optimal shade. 

It’s essential to avoid staining foods and drinks like tea, coffee,curries and red sauces etc. However, if you feel you would really prefer to enjoy staining drinks like coffee or red wine you can use a straw preferably after 24 hours.  With every initial treatment, you’ll receive a complimentary aftercare pack, which includes a week’s supply of our whitening strips, a toothbrush, a reusable stainless steel straw, and an aftercare guide.
